- These boots were made for eating: Deliveroo and Pleesecakes team up to create a festival-themed mud cake, served and delivered in a mini welly boot

- Deliveroo reveals that cheesecake is the most popular post-festival dessert ordered on the platform
This week festival lovers around the world pack up their bags and get their wellies ready, set for week of trudging through the mud and enjoying the UK's biggest music festival. To pay tribute to this iconic British event, food delivery company Deliveroo has teamed up with cheesecake extraordinaires Pleesecakes to create an extra special dessert just in time for the festival.
Pleesecakes' 'Caked in Mud' may look ready to hit the festival fields, but (thankfully) it's actually packed with a tasty chocolate cheesecake. With a crunchy chocolate biscuit base, squelchy vanilla cream cheese centre, gooey chocolate ganache and tasty Oreo toppings, this dessert brings a whole new meaning to layering up for a festival.
Why cheesecakes? Deliveroo data reveals that cheesecakes tops the list of sweet dishes its customers in the UK order from the service after returning from a festival.
The most popular sweet treats ordered on Deliveroo post-festival:
- Blueberry Smoothie
- Cookie Dough Ice Cream
- Chocolate Brownie
- Oreo Milkshake
'Caked in Mud' is available to purchase at Pleesecakes on Deliveroo Editions throughout the duration of the festival (26-30 June) and costs £6. Roll on the frosting bite.
Joe Groves at Deliveroo comments: "The 'Caked in Mud' Pleesecake brings a special treat to everyone who isn't heading down to the festival in Somerset this week. Perfect to order at the weekend while watching the headline acts on the TV, without getting caked in mud! Fill your boots, people."
