- Deliveroo is inviting Brits to the perfect free day out: the World of Food, a food festival with restaurants from around the world all under one roof
- Deliveroo's World of Food offers customers live music and free food from 8 restaurants
- World of Food will pop up in London, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds and Liverpool
14 May: Ever find yourself struggling to decide what to eat for your next meal? Chicken korma or chow mein, greek salad or pizza... it can all get a bit overwhelming with a whole world of food out there. But fear not, because this summer, Deliveroo invites people around the UK to explore the World of Food, a festival which brings our favourite tasty treats from around the globe. So no struggles over deciding what to eat - you can try it all, and the best news: it's totally free of charge!
Great for families and friends, Deliveroo's World of Food brings hearty samples from eight restaurants (all on the house), live music and a whole load of surprises. There's also a bar for those wanting to pair the amazing food options with a refreshing beverage.
Whether guests are crazy about curry, mad for margherita or (dough)nuts for desserts, they will be spoilt for choice as they taste their way around the World of Food - and have some fun along the way, exploring their way through hidden doorways and streets.
Visitors will be invited to journey through the 'House of Roos' bar, where a secret entrance will give them access to the hidden diner and its all-American classics. After locating (and walking through) the fridge door, the next adventure starts when they find the Vespa, which will mark another entrance to discover some Mediterranean bites and the Insta-ready streets of Italy. Attendees should be sure to hop into the tuk-tuk, which will transport them through Asia, where they can discover an array of exciting food stalls.
Emily Kraftman, Marketing Director at Deliveroo, comments: "With Deliveroo, our customers can eat what they want, where they want, when they want and through the World of Food, they can do just that. This is a festival for anyone and everyone, so gather your friends and family for a fun, food-filled, free day out."
Expect food - lots of food - from the UK's favourite selection of restaurants.
When attendees have had enough to eat and fancy taking a break between courses, there will be plenty of chill out zones where you can enjoy drinks and music by the headline acts. Talk about the perfect Saturday.
